If you’re moving with just a few things, sending some parcels is often simpler than a van or a removal company. Each parcel has a fixed price for the route and the courier collects and delivers them all to the door.
1. How many boxes
Each parcel can weigh up to 30 kg, with no side over 120 cm and the three sides adding up to no more than 220 cm. Several parcels can go in the same order and each one pays the route price, whatever it weighs (prices). It pays to fill each box well, without going over the limits.
2. Heavy items in small boxes, light ones in big boxes
Books and heavy items go in small boxes, so they stay within 30 kg and don’t break; clothes and cushions in large boxes. Fill any gaps and seal with packing tape in an “H” pattern (how to pack).
3. Number them and make a list
Write a number on each box, for example “1 of 6”, and keep a list of what’s in each one. You’ll need it to check everything on arrival and for any refund claim.
4. Measure and photograph
Weigh and measure each closed box (how to measure). After payment, upload a photo of each closed parcel: without photos the shipment won’t go ahead.
5. Insurance
Insurance applies per shipment, not per parcel: it covers the contents up to the stated maximum (how it works). For valuable items, keep invoices and receipts. When everything is ready, book your shipment.
