What you can’t send in Europe: prohibited and restricted items

Goods you can't send with RufioExpress and its couriers: dangerous, flammable, loose lithium batteries, weapons, cash, animals, perishables.

Guides ·

Parcels travel by lorry and plane together with many others and pass through sorting centres in several countries. That’s why some goods can’t be sent: they are dangerous for the people handling them or prohibited by law. The list applies to all RufioExpress shipments and is in the Terms and Conditions.

Prohibited goods

If you’re not sure

Write to us before booking (support): we’ll tell you whether the item can be sent. Always describe the contents fully and truthfully: anyone who makes a false declaration or sends prohibited goods is liable for the resulting damage and costs, and insurance does not cover prohibited goods.

Before you seal the parcel

Check that nothing has been left inside by mistake, such as a lighter in a pocket or a power bank in a backpack. Then pack it well (how to pack) and book your shipment.
